Larry, I've often wondered about bringing folks together (including experts in relevant fields) who are interested in developing new and safer technologies. The idea, as The Twelve suggest, is to enlist the help of our inner sources in the search for greater understanding. Create a bridge, an alliance, and listen to their ideas as you do with The Twelve. Is anything we do not somehow connected to inner source anyway?

One of the primary limitations I see is our stereotype of the "rugged individual". It's very strong in the world. To many of us, it may seem like cheating to call on our higher selves for help. To rise above my own limiting beliefs I ask questions like:

What do I know that I don't know I know?
What can I do that I don't know I can do?
Where do I begin and where do I end?

They seem like legitimate questions, based on my experience, and make it okay for me to accept knowledge from sources other than society and its institutions. Instead of accepting the idea that I'm a blank slate to be written on and settling on a fixed set of rules to live by, I free myself to pay attention to what works and makes me happy.

This process helps me discover the qualities of life and being I value most, my ideals. Then, it becomes a matter of actualizing them to the best of my ability. If we choose to live by value fulfillment and practice idealism, we can become more self-organizing and self-directing. We can become more self-governing. Actually, to a large extent, we already live by value fulfillment and practice idealism. It falls into the categories of, what do we know that we don't know we know, and what can we do that we don't know we can do?

Most of us, if we stop to think about it, will remember instances when we wished or longed for something, a convenience or experience, only to see it appear in reality a short time later. Do we ever ask the universe for good fortune, good weather or good health? Many, if not all of us, do! I realized one day that I wanted to experience the energy of unconditional love. Two years later the universe delivered and I had the following experience: Encounter with Unconditional Love (http://realtalkworld.com/2011/05/01/encounter-unconditional-love/). It was an amazing experience!

Not only do we ask for certain experiences in waking reality, we do it in dreams as well. How many of us ask, or wish, for flying dreams because they're so much fun? How many of us look for help with inner or outer conflicts in dreams, sometimes without realizing it? Below the level of the outer self or ego, seeking help in dreams is simple and uncomplicated.

Is it possible that one of the reasons souls, like us, enter physical (dense) reality is to slow the process of creation down so we can study it, so we can watch and participate in each logical and exquisite step along the way? Creation in imagination and dreams happens so quickly and spontaneously, it seems magical and unknowable. For examples of creation in dreams look for Lucid Creation Dreams: http://realtalkworld.com/category/who-are-we/dreams-who-are-we/

I'm with you, Larry, I would love to work with others on the development of new and safer technologies. What can we do that we don't know we can do? What do we know that we don't know we know? Where do we begin and where do we end?

I don't consider myself any kind of expert but I am true to myself, and trust, all else that matters will follow. When you be who you love to be and do what you love to do, you never give up. Love and natural passion won't let you. Cheers, Pete

A great piece from Larry and the Twelve! However, I do have a cautionary tale to tell. This regards the Yoga of Positive Thought in Practice section: "I love finding that I don’t have to think of solutions to my problems, just visualize happy endings. The world makes it all very easy if we allow it to do it’s magical work."

First, some people like to be directly involved in thinking up solutions to problems. For them, it's fun! Second, from personal experience, I think this whole area needs to be examined carefully because unless you have a healthy worldview ahead of time, things could go very wrong. If we have negative beliefs, attitudes, values or expectations that result in negative outcomes, they will play a role in any creation unless we change them. There are many ways to do that, but it must be done, otherwise we'll get what we concentrate on whether it's negative or positive.

When I visulized the repair of our car many years ago, I didn't think at all about how I wanted it to happen. As a result of this oversight and some negative beliefs, I was rear ended and got whiplash as a result. The car got fixed and years later, when I wanted to switch driving for the county to the city, a careful physical discovered a separation between to cervical vertebrae that cost me the job with the city. It all turned out fine but I learned, as a result of this experience that I like to have some say over what's coming in the future.

This area deserves much examination and sharing because there's much we can learn about the nature of Consciousness and creation.

Hi Lynette,

Do you know why I developed and maintain a website like Real Talk World? To outgrow the anger, frustration and depression I felt in the past. Change that reflects your highest values requires effort. It's not something anyone can give to you. It's a gift you must give to yourself. That being said, what I can give you are thoughts to ponder. What you do with them is up to you.

Three core beliefs* that give us the power to change ourselves, and the world, for the better: (the About page).

You create your own reality according to the nature of your beliefs. (As we think, we create. Change what we think, and we change what we create.)

ALL existence is blessed. (To believe otherwise is to support discrimination, judgment and violence in the world, against ourselves and nature.)

Evil does not exist in reality. (To believe in "evil" is to limit our ability to know and appreciate the magic and wonder of All That Is, which includes us.)

* These three core beliefs or insights were first introduced by Seth in the Seth Books. They stand on their own as blueprints for change. Seth, a non-physical entity, spoke through author, Jane Roberts, and was recorded by her husband, Robert F. Butts. Both are now deceased.

If you believe in evil, why? If you believe that not all life is blessed, why? If you believe you're the victim of reality, why? Is this what you want to believe or what you've been taught to believe? I don't know about you but I love questions. They make us think. Simply by asking or entertaining them, we taking action, we start to help ourselves. Do you believe in an external value system of right and wrong, good and bad, reinforced by the fear of guilt and punishment or do you believe that deep down, there is no right or wrong, good or bad; there just IS. There is what we like and what we don't like, what works, and what doesn't, what makes us happy and what doesn't. In a value judgment system, we don't think, we react by following the rules. In a system where everyone is judging everyone else, can anyone be happy? In a value fulfillment system where everyone determines their own values based on what works and makes them happy, can anyone not be happy?

According to the Voice of Unconditional Love, "Nothing you can ever think, say or do can keep you from being loved uncondtionally." Read: Encounter with Unconditional Love. Thanks for writing.

i would like to read more of the interviews.
recently retired as a textile artist. sold my home to be near family. da. i am single with no children. i have been hold up in my apartment spinning around with what have i done, why am i so lonely and why i must obsess about it.
i paint. i draw. and mostly i forget to do it. so tired of my reality. wanting to blame others. just such stupid business. i have copd. on oxygen 24/7. feel so boxed in to a reality that does not fit. so passionate about having no passion. dead end. tired.
i get what jack says about reality is mallable. i want to awaken more than anything. i want to live in a lower elevation so i can breathe better. i want to create some new realities for myself. feel very isolated and afraid to move.
your reply would be greatly appreciated.
