The Politics of Change

As members of this or any society, we have two choices. We can choose to live by value judgment and let the authority of others run our lives or we can choose to live by value fulfillment and practice idealism. We can look deep within ourselves to determine the qualities of life and being we value most, our ideals, and actualize them to the best of our ability. By doing so, we can gradually let go of personal and institutionalized beliefs that oppress us. Instead of mindlessly accepting biblical stories that tell us we’re bad and can’t be trusted (ideologies), we can remember how good we are, how much we do and how well we do it. Instead of unquestioningly accepting a scientific belief that tells us we’re the result of a great cosmic accident, the Big Bang, which makes us blank slates, we can remember that Consciousness, or Aware Energy, is the Source and Substance of All That Is.

As Beings of Aware Energy, we can remember that we are both one with and separate from All That Is. We can remember that we’re not only products of creation, we’re creation itself! As Beings of Aware Energy, we can remember that there is no right or wrong, good or bad; there just IS. There is what we like, and what we don’t like, what works for us, and what doesn’t, what makes us happy and what doesn’t.

What others will not or cannot do for us, we must do for ourselves. That includes  electing people who represent what’s best in us, not what’s least. WE are the change we’re creating! As we think, feel, act and react, we create. To change what we create, we change what we think and feel, how we act and react. It’s all a matter of perspective. It’s not about good or bad, right or wrong. It’s about what works best and makes us happiest. Instead of fear, let love be the light and our way.

To measure success with love, truth, and joy is to acknowledge our oneness with, and separation from All That Is. It is to acknowledge our belief in the magic and wonder of All That Is. It is to live for the love of Being and Creation.

Consciousness (Aware Energy or Energetic Awareness) is the Source and Substance of All That Is. How can we say that? Because, without Energy or the Power to Act, how can Awareness know and express itself? And, without Awareness, what acknowledges and creates a need for Energy? Doesn’t one need the other for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to exist?

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having (creating) a human experience.” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

“How you define yourself and the world forms your intent, which, in turn, forms your reality.” – Seth

In other words, we create our own reality from what we choose to believe about ourselves, and the world around us, whether by intention or inattention.

If we don’t CONSCIOUSLY choose our beliefs, we unconsciously absorb them from our surroundings.

If beliefs, attitudes, values and expectations create our reality, can we afford not to question them?

The more we love, understand and appreciate ourselves, the better we treat ourselves, and the world.

The secrets of the universe lie hidden in the shadows of our experience. Look for them!
