Sharing A Different Worldview

Whispered Questions

Adapt or Die

Ideas are the building blocks of creation. As we think, feel, act and react, we create. In other words, what we believe about ourselves and the world forms our intent, which, in turn, creates our reality. When an idea, habit, or worldview begins to create more problems than it solves, what are we meant to do? We’re meant to see it for what it is and replace it with a different idea, habit, or worldview; one that works better and makes us happier.

If we refuse to change, things will keep getting worse until we do, or we will die in our current form. We all know this intuitively, if not consciously, and have already begun to change the way we see ourselves and reality, whether we know it or not. To create my own larger picture of reality, I found that it was necessary for me to accept that there is no right or wrong, good or bad (value judgment or control from the outside-in); there just IS! There is what we like and don’t like, what works for us and what doesn’t, what makes us happy and what doesn’t, value fulfillment or control from the inside-out. This distinction is important because one limits our ability to change by limiting our power and responsibility. The other frees our ability to change by allowing us greater power and responsibility. Which do you prefer?

We Create Our Reality

I don’t know what works and makes you happy but I do know what works and makes me happy. It begins with a different story of origin – Pete’s Aware Energy Theory of Being and Creation:

Aware Energy

In the beginning, there was nothing – until Nothing realized it was Something! After all, how can “nothing” exist without Something to define it? With this one shocking revelation, Nothing-Something made it possible for Anything and Everything to exist!

We can think of this momentous event as the First Vibration of Awareness and Action, the Divine Spark of Creation, the Birth of Original Thought, the First Impulse to Be and Create, the First Response to the Promise of Being and Creation, the Birth of Unconditional Love, the Birth of All That Is, the Birth of Zero and One (0 and 1, off and on, no and yes), the Birth of God, Allah or the concept of a Supreme Being.

We can also think of this defining moment as the Birth of Consciousness or Aware Energy, whose nature it is to conceive and perceive – to think, feel, act and react. In theory, it was, and is, ALL these things and more, including the moment Aware Energy or Consciousness learned how to condense a portion of itself into what we, in human form, call “matter.”

Nothing and Something, Awareness and Action – Each Needs the Other for Anything to Exist!

How can we accept the idea that Aware Energy or Consciousness is the Source and Substance of All That Is? Because, without Energy or the power to act, Awareness cannot know and express itself. And without the presence of Awareness, what defines and creates a need for Energy? Yes, one needs the other for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to exist!

From a human perspective, “matter” itself is an illusion formed by the action of thought and imagination. According to scientific research, a hydrogen atom is 99.9999999999996% empty space. Why don’t we fall right through each other? Because electrostatic fields that attract and repulse each other provide our biological senses with the illusion of density or “solid” matter.

To borrow the immortal words of Neil Armstrong and the US Space Administration, accepting that Energy possesses Awareness, or Awareness possesses Energy, “is one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind.”

For the experience of it, imagine that Aware Energy or Consciousness, pushed from within by the Impulse to Be and Create and drawn from without by the promise of Being and Creation, is the Source and Substance of All That Is. As a Multidimensional, Vibrational Being of Aware Energy in an infinite field of Aware Energy, how does it feel to be a self-aware “I” within your body, mind and All That Is?

How does it feel to be:

  1. Both one with and separate from All That Is?
  2. Both a product of creation and creation itself?

How does it feel to know that:

  1. We think, feel, act and react (conceive and perceive); therefore, we ARE. (expanded version of “I think therefore I am” by Rene Descartes)
  2. As we think, feel, act and react, we create.
  3. To change what we create, we change what we think and feel, how we act and react.
  4. The self is our seat of power.
  5. The present is our point of power.
  6. Being and Creating what we value is the promise of power.
  7. Being and Creation are the manifestations of power.
  8. Creation is the process of making the invisible, visible, the unknown, known, creating order out of chaos and making sense out of nonsense.

As a fun experiment, ask yourself: where is the “me” that existed two minutes ago. Where did it go and in what form does it exist now? In the same token, ask yourself: where is the “me” that will appear two minutes from now? In what form does it exist now? What about the earth? Outside of this moment, in what form does it exist?

Excerpt from We Create Our Reality:

Remember: Thoughts are “things” with a reality of their own and each of us, an artist. With thoughts in the form of beliefs, attitudes, values and expectations, we paint the landscape of our lives.

This theory of Being and Creation offers an alternative to the Big Bang Theory of classical science and The Story of Creation in the Bible. It reflects much of the new thinking that is emerging, not only from curious minds in quantum physics and religion but from anyone with the curiosity to reach out to higher consciousness for new understanding.

Conscious Creators

There you have it: to change what we create, we must change what we think and feel, how we act and react. I’m not asking you to believe me; believe yourself!  You’re the one who benefits or suffers most from what you choose to believe about yourself and the world.

To get the most out of your experience, keep an open heart and mind as you read the thoughts and questions included here and on my website, realtalkworld.com, and at The LifeSong Store, hosted by Café Press.com.

Using a storefront format forces me to simplify ideas and turn them into memes* that are easy to understand and share with others. Having a storefront not only makes it possible to lay out an entire worldview, including some of the questions I’ve asked the universe to develop, it also makes it possible to raise money to promote Conscious Creators.

* Meme – “A meme is a piece of information that is passed from one entity (person, book, etc.) to another. Often memes are social or cultural in nature and are ways aspects of culture are passed from person to person so that the information is understood.” – Psychology glossary, alleydog.com

Look for the ideas that inspire you most. Share why you like them and encourage others to join the conversation. For example, if you like the meme (see below), Conscious Creators – making How we are more important than Who we are, because it puts the emphasis more on how we treat each other, instead of how we compare to each other, send it around the web so others can think about it. There is no reason the idea of becoming Conscious Creators can’t go viral in a huge way! As we post our favorite thoughts and questions to more apps, more people will join the conversation and become aware of how We Create Our Own reality.

How to use The LifeSong Store to help promote awareness of a Different World View:

Go to The LifeSong Store on Café Press by clicking the store link.

  1. Pick a store section, either “Share Thoughts” or “Ask Questions.”
  2. Pick a thought or question you like and click on it (don’t forget to read the blurbs under each image as well. They add more to understanding the significance of each idea.)
  3. Pick a product image you like and click on it. To the right of the image that comes up, click on the Facebook “Like” button or open the “Share” button to post an image on Facebook, Twitter or some other app you use. Use the email button to send an image and message to a family member or friend.

Here’s one of my favorite thoughts or memes:

How We Are

When we make how we treat each other more important than how we measure up to each other, we make a small change within that creates a huge change without. This statement highlights one of many value-choices we’re free to make. For example, if we value money, power, and privilege (material gratification) over love, truth, and joy (emotional gratification), associated beliefs like separation, scarcity, competition, enough is never enough and the ends justify the means, may find a welcome home as part of our belief system. With beliefs like these, how will we view others and how will we treat them? How will we view and treat ourselves? If, on the other hand, we value love, truth, and joy over money, power, and privilege, how will we view others? How will we treat them? How will we view and treat ourselves?

Every idea has its own validity and presents us with a choice. As mentioned earlier, ideas are the building blocks of creation. If we’re here to live, love, learn and evolve then the value of an idea is in the reality it creates and what we can learn from it. So, what are we trying to teach ourselves? What do we want to learn? Conscious Creators, always looking for the best to express from within and without.

What others will not or cannot do for us, we must do for ourselves.

Seek the greatest understanding and serve the highest good.
