Dreams, a Means for Inner Learning and Communication
As we think, feel, act and react, we create. Right? Without these abilities, how can we “be” or “create” in the first place? What does it matter whether our thoughts and actions are associated with a waking or dream experience? Isn’t there something to learn from everything? Isn’t everything an idea made real, even you and me? Think about that! Even “material” reality is an illusion. For example, where is the “you” that existed two minutes ago? In what form does it exist now? In the same vein, Where is the “you” that will appear two minutes from now? In what form does it exist before it becomes “you” in the present? It’s the same with the earth; outside of its ever-changing “now,” in what form does it exist?
So, what are dreams but another projection of consciousness, another dimension of Being and Creation we can interact with and learn from? Yes, we (each unique, individualized expression of consciousness) flicker on and off every moment. This shift from one state to another is what allows us to see things differently. It’s what allows us to change perspective. The inner self understands this but the outer self must hide this knowledge from itself until it feels ready to accept and work with it. Otherwise, it would be too disruptive. All aspects of consciousness are at different levels of development. To create the change we want in ourselves, we must each start from wherever we are in the moment.
